Dream

The primary computational resource of the lab is the dream linux "beowulf" cluster. It was purchased in 2009 from Aspen Systems as part of the Determinants of Executive Function & Dysfunction center grant.

  • Compute nodes (26) each with:
    • 2 Quad-Core Intel Nehalem 2.93GHz processors
    • 24GB RAM
    • DDR InfiniBand HSI
    • nVidia Quadro FX 370 LP GPU
  • Head node with:
    • 2 Quad-Core Intel Nehalem 2.93GHz processors
    • 24GB RAM
    • DDR InfiniBand HSI
    • RAID1 system drives
  • I/O node with:
    • 2 Quad-Core Intel Nehalem 2.93GHz processors
    • 24GB RAM
    • DDR InfiniBand HSI
    • 24 1TB SATA drives in a RAID6 configuration = ~19TB storage
