  • Complex Child: "a monthly online magazine written primarily by parents of children with special healthcare needs and disabilities. It is intended to provide medical information, along with personal experiences, in simple language that other parents can understand."
  • Make-A-Wish: grants the wishes of medically eligible children who have reached the age of 2½ and are under the age of 18. Most children with Short Gut Syndrome are considered eligible.
  • Victory Junction Gang Camp "enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing experiences that are exciting, fun, and empowering, in a safe and medically sound environment." Families on the yahoo tpnsupport group have reported very good experiences.
